Welcome to Adobe FrameMaker Essentials, an online workshop series on the market-leading software for authoring and publishing technical content, Adobe FrameMaker. Here is your exclusive opportunity to learn from renowned technical communication experts and get hands-on training on Adobe FrameMaker.
In this particular series, we will focus on the unstructured authoring or style-based authoring side of Adobe FrameMaker.
The first session will focus on the authoring basics in Adobe FrameMaker. The training session will cover the following topics:
- Using workspaces for organization
- Creating a new file from a template
- Copying text
- Applying styles
- Importing text and mapping styles
- Managing lists
- Working with the default master pages
- Managing anchored objects
- Importing an image into an anchored frame
- Adding and formatting a table (including copy, move, delete, position, spacing)
- File > Import > Formats
